PT Day 1

Went for PT Eval today and left with a laundry list of stretches and core strengthening moevements to do daily for homework. I’m doing stuff like Quad Stretches,. Hip Flexor Stretches, Lumbar Rotation Stretches, Curl ups for core strength, Trunk Stability Straight Leg Raise & Extremity Extensions, Press-ups and Mid back rotation stretches. All good stuff. I have to be better about recognizing when the discomfort comes in and not push too much into that zone or past it lol. I guess when you deal with daily discomfort and pain for an extended amount of time, your brain is trained to ignore or work around or in spite of it. And so being aware of what’s going on in the low back area is essential when I’m doing this PT stuff. good to know.
